INTRODUCTION
SiteSync provides packaged scalable wireless solutions with low-cost maintenance plans to industrial enterprise customers throughout the Southeast. Using the industry-leading wireless protocol, LoRaWAN, our solutions can increase visibility and productivity within your facility with minimal downtime and maintenance costs. In order to produce a product on time and get insight into finished goods for financial reporting purposes, inventory monitoring is essential for an effective process. This customer presented with a manual inventory management system needing an upgrade. At the time, the process was measured manually by putting sticks in the tanks to determine depth. This manual measurement process left the customer open to inaccuracies and downtime. We proposed a cost-effective level instrument solution that fits the application needs using VEGA Radar sensors for a wireless monitoring solution.
CONCLUSION
Installation of this wireless inventory management system has increased productivity and improved data accuracy for financial reporting. The system’s scalability is another benefit, and since the success of the deployment of our initial system, the customer plans to add in systems at two other locations, in Mississippi and Indiana.
